“IMO” is an acronym for isomaltooligosaccharide, which is a mixture of short-chain carbohydrates that have digestion-resistant properties. The raw material used for producing IMO is starch (pea or tapioca starch) which is enzymatically converted into a mixture of isomaltooligosaccharides.
